Sunset Park

The neighborhood, located on one of the highest points in Brooklyn, is sandwiched between Park Slope to the north and Bay Ridge to the south. The gem of the area is Sunset Park, which from it’s vantage point affords a magnificent view of the Manhattan skyline, the harbor, and of course, stunning sunset views. Historically, Sunset Park had a large Scandinavian and Finnish population. Today, it is largely Latino, with a heavy Puerto Rican, Dominican, Mexican and Central American presence . Along the eastern border of Sunset Park lies Brooklyn’s Chinatown with an expansive selection of open markets and Asian restaurants. Accessible to ’D’ & ’N’ express trains ; a 25 minute ride to midtown.
