The transition into the world of New York real estate has been easy for Alexander Doherty. His love of urban architecture combined with his sales experience makes the real estate profession a natural fit.

Before Joining Brown Harris Stevens, Alexander was the National Sales Director for Travers, one of the country’s leading fabric houses, where his position entailed extensive travel within the United States and Europe. At Travers, he developed creative sales strategies and worked directly with the world’s best interior designers. Alexander now works with Vice President, Director Jill Roosevelt, a top producer at Brown Harris Stevens.

Born in the United Kingdom, Alexander was educated in England, Spain and Italy and graduated from University of Westminster, where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree with honors in French and Spanish. He spends time in both New York and Paris — the two cities in which he most feels at home.

Alexander Doherty is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York.
