Alia Velazquez is a New York City native and newly joined member of The York Residential Team at Brown Harris Stevens, bringing a lifelong connection to the city she serves. Having grown up in the East Village and Lower East Side, Alia offers an authentic, firsthand understanding of Manhattan and Brooklyn’s diverse neighborhoods, shaped by years of witnessing the city’s evolution and the impact of finding the right place to call home.

Before transitioning into real estate, Alia built a dynamic career across brand marketing, public relations, editorial fashion, and television and film production. Through this work, she developed a strong foundation in cultivating relationships with high-net-worth individuals, maintaining discretion, and navigating fast-paced, collaborative environments. These experiences now inform her client-first approach, defined by attention to detail, thoughtful communication, and a deep commitment to understanding each client’s unique needs.
