Amanda Jennings Young is a Senior Vice President of Brown Harris Stevens and a Principal of The Young Group, sales and marketing experts specializing in the representation of fine properties and new development condominiums.

A top producing real estate broker having honed her skills in the luxury New York City real estate market, Amanda has represented the buyer or seller in residential real estate exceeding $250 million in value. Prior to the formation of Young Randolph Young, she spent five years at the Corcoran Group as a Vice President of Residential Sales. During her tenure, she was consistently among the top 1% of NRT brokers nationwide, recognized as one of the firm’s top ten brokers on the basis of monthly volume. Amanda began her career in real estate at Brown Harris Stevens in 2002, where she earned the BHS Rookie of the Year designation during her first year in sales, and was consistently awarded high volume recognitions.

Amanda entered real estate after gaining valuable experience creating corporate and consumer branding strategies for the financial services industry, developing a quantitative skill set which has served her well representing high-end properties. Her extensive experience orchestrating real estate transactions has yielded a finely-tuned understanding of the cadence of negotiation, as well as the need for preventative problem-solving--skills which translate to higher returns for clients and superior outcomes for customers.

A lifelong Manhattan resident, Amanda is familiar with every neighborhood on the island and has also worked extensively throughout Brooklyn. Her sales record includes large pre-war apartments, luxury condominiums, downtown lofts and large townhouses. With an established industry network, and a strong commitment to discretion and personal service, Amanda’s consultative style makes her an excellent partner when preparing a property for market.

Amanda attended New York City’s Spence School where she currently serves as a member of the Alumnae Committee. Subsequently she received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Middlebury College. Amanda is a fluent speaker of Spanish.
