Energy. Diplomacy. Determination, are some of the qualities Andrew brings to Brown Harris Stevens, along with a great love of Brooklyn’s historic architecture, a sharp eye for detail and design, and a keen sense of the marketplace. With a decade of real estate sales experience in landmark Brooklyn, and the neighborhoods surrounding Prospect Park, Andrew is proud (and grateful) to the many buyers and sellers whose referrals represent the lion’s share of his extensive business. Consistently a top producer in Brooklyn’s top sales office, he was recently named Vice President and Associate Broker.

As a veteran of hundreds of sales, Andrew has worked with first time buyers and sellers, as well as seasoned “trade up” seller/buyers, guiding them through every step of the process from best offer to closing, often helping coordinate the transition from seller of one property to buyer of another. With a confident even keeled demeanor he brings a common sense perspective to negotiations, providing all parties with the confidence necessary to realize their goals.

The son of a journalist and educator, Andrew knows how to ask the right questions and more importantly, how to listen closely to the answers. He loves to share his extensive knowledge of the neighborhoods whether introducing new buyers to Brooklyn, or introducing currently Brooklynites to the broad variety of housing options in Brooklyn’s as yet “undiscovered” neighborhoods. He currently shares a turn of the century townhouse with his wife and daughter in Victorian Flatbush, but has lived in Park Slope, Carrol Gardens and Windsor Terrace and sold co-ops, condos, and townhouses in all of Brownstone Brooklyn including: Brooklyn Heights, Park Slope, Fort Greene-Clinton Hill, Windsor Terrace, Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens, Prospect Heights, Prospect-Lefferts Manor, Ditmas Park, Kensington and Victorian Flatbush.

Andrew was raised in Kentucky and moved to New York in 1985. Before becoming a broker, he worked extensively in film and theatre as a lighting designer, scenic artist, writer and actor at St. Ann's, La MaMa, The Knitting Factory, Here and BAM. He still enjoys making music and art, as well as gardening and renovating his current Brooklyn home.
