Caroline Guthrie, MA (Oxon), was born and raised in England where she graduated from Oxford University with a BA (Hons) in 1987. She subsequently moved to New York and began her real estate career with Edward Lee Cave five days before the infamous Black Monday of October 19th, 1987. Having watched real estate tumble and then return to the unprecedented highs of recent years, she is adept at guiding her agents and their clients through all cycles of the market. Her diplomacy, discretion and professionalism have earned her the respect of her colleagues in the industry. Her primary focus remains selling, and her twenty-year history of successful transactions can attest to her skill in this field.

Caroline has a profound understanding that New York is not a single-faceted real estate market. Each client has a particular need to fulfill in purchasing a new home and she expertly advises clients based on this understanding and on their perception of their needs.
