Raised on the Upper East Side, Diana Bustamante is a true native New Yorker. She brings tremendous passion, enthusiasm and integrity to each and every undertaking, and she is eager to serve her clients, whether on the buy side or the sell side. She is an attentive listener, and brings her previous sales and negotiating experience in the banking industry to bear in understanding the real estate market and pricing deals correctly. Diana is a consummate professional, who handles even the most sensitive transactions with persistence, resourcefulness and discretion. She will work closely with you all the way to the finish line in order to get the deal done.

A current resident of the Upper East Side, Diana knows Manhattan as only an insider would, from the schools to the restaurants and shops. In her youth, Diana attended the Hewitt School, the Trinity School, and the Spence School, where she currently serves on the Board of Trustees. She earned a B.A. in Political Science from Brown University and later joined the U.S. Department of State as a Foreign Service Officer, serving in Washington, D.C. and Mexico City. She then returned to New York City, where she began her long and successful career in international banking at Manufacturers Hanover Trust, now JP Morgan Chase. She sold and traded emerging markets, trade finance transactions and was known in the industry for her keen sense of pricing for even the most complex transactions, a valuable skill that she brings to the real estate market today.

Diana loves languages. Her business brought her around the world – from Moscow to Sao Paolo. She is fluent in Spanish, and in addition, speaks Russian and French. When she is not chasing the perfect real estate transaction, she is horse back riding and boating in Litchfield County, Connecticut, where she and her family have a home.
