Ginnie Gardiner joins Brown Harris Stevens with ten years of industry experience and sales of nearly $200 million to date. With an extensive knowledge of New York City, Ginnie has established herself as a diligent, thorough and passionate broker. Working in conjunction with her husband and fellow agent, Jon Phillips, as a dynamic team they have helped concept, design and sell out such downtown condo developments as 50 Pine Street in the Financial District and 124 West 24th Street in Chelsea and specialize in loft, historic buildings and townhouse re-sales.

Immersed in all aspects of buying and especially selling, Ginnie values working on behalf her clients in the process of marketing and selling their homes. Highlighting a property’s strongest aspects in order to yield the highest price point is a product of her vast design experience and industry expertise. Her experience in using all the financial valuation tools in the real estate industry gives Ginnie’s clients the benefit of having their property accurately valued by the market and thereby attracts the largest number of qualified buyers.

After graduating from Cornell with a Bachelors of Fine Arts from the school of Architecture, Art and Planning, Ginnie was appointed Director of New York City’s federal arts employment program where she placed local artists in many positions that resulted in launching major careers. She was the top producer in test marketing and computer graphics for the digital advertising industry in the early days of MTV at Charlex, an award winning advertising production house.

Living for three decades in Chelsea and involvement with the art world as an artist, and writer on art, have proven invaluable to understanding the history of downtown neighborhoods and the creative people who inhabit them. Ginnie’s fine art has been shown in numerous solo and group exhibits in New York, London, and Minneapolis for 25 years. She has been included in many exhibitions at the Pavel Zoubok Gallery in Chelsea over the past decade, most recently in the 2010 exhibit, ‘In Translation: Austin/Deem/Gardiner.
