In Memoriam

Gordon R. Stanton is an inveterate New Yorker. He was born and bred on the Upper East Side, attended The Buckley School and St. Paul’s, and has lived or worked on the Upper West Side, Morningside Heights, Wall Street, the Village and Murray Hill, experiences which have made him extremely conversant with New York's varied neighborhoods. His customers and clients, both native and international, have appreciated his intimate knowledge of this fabulous island.

Mr. Stanton joined Brown Harris Stevens in 1997 and works in our East Side office. He is the Broker Specialist for two of our Brown Harris Stevens managed buildings, one a Candela building in his current neighborhood of Carnegie Hill, and one near an earlier residence in Lenox Hill. Mr. Stanton has marketed a full range of properties: from studios to townhouses, from condo-hotels to Fifth Avenue duplexes. He has also closed the gamut from new development purchases to estate dispositions.

Having studied architecture at Yale University and received an M.B.A. from NYU, Gordon is particularly skilled in helping clients visualize what they want and navigate board packages and mortgage applications.

Mr. Stanton resides in Carnegie Hill with his wife and two sons. He is a long time REBNY member.
