Gregory Ryan

Raised on the Upper West Side, Gregory Ryan has made Brooklyn his home for over seventeen years. After several years in Brooklyn Heights, he has lived in Prospect Heights since becoming a homeowner over ten years ago.

Prior to joining Brown Harris Stevens, Gregory could be found on stages around the world, performing as bassist for a wide array of jazz artists, including Grammy nominees Regina Carter, Pat Martino, Tom Harrell, and Karrin Allyson. He has toured leading his own group on behalf of the US Department of State and Jazz at Lincoln Center, and has many recordings to his credit.

As a musician, he has always been a listener and devoted himself to serving the needs of the project at hand, constantly encountering new people, finding common purpose, and creating something beautiful. He brings the same approach to real estate: paying close attention to clients’ needs and bringing all of his experience and preparation to the situation at hand.

Gregory has a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Stanford University and a Master of Music from The Manhattan School of Music.
