Born and raised in Ditmas Park, she is an alumnus of the Society for Ethical Culture on Prospect Park West, and has been a Packer Parent, a member of the Brooklyn’s Safe Haven Program, and was a long time Director of the Brooklyn Women’s Exchange. In a real estate career spanning almost a decade, she has represented the developers in a conversion of a townhouse to condo’s in Brooklyn Heights, set a sales record for townhouses in Cobble Hill, was a founding member of the Bridge Harbor Heights Condo Association and has successfully represented sellers in neighborhoods from Carroll Gardens to Lefferts Garden; Fort Greene Park to Ditmas Park. Karyl’s involvement in these varied landmark communities along with her natural networking strengths have made her an invaluable resource both to buyers who are just discovering Brooklyn’s beauty and diversity as well as to the sellers who have lived in and shaped what has become the city’s hottest destination.
