Marlene Marcus, a Senior Vice President at Brown Harris Stevens with over 20 years of experience selling luxury Manhattan real estate, has produced over $4 billion in sales. In 2011, The Wall Street Journal and Real Trends named Marlene one of America’s top real estate professionals. She was ranked the 40th top broker by sales volume with in excess of $80 million in sales in 2010.
Marlene has consistently been recognized as a top producer and featured in a variety of publications including The Observer, The Real Deal, and The Wall Street Journal. In 2010, Marlene was honored at Brown Harris Stevens for “The Largest Condominium Resale Deal of the Year.” Her meteoric rise to success at Brown Harris Stevens is attributed to not only her focus, energy and creativity, but to her years of experience as an exclusive on-site broker for the industry’s top developers. From 2005-2007, Marlene was part of the distinguished sales team for Zeckendorf Marketing at 15 Central Park West, the most successful new condominium in the world. Developed by William Zeckendorf and Arthur Zeckendorf, the on-site sales team achieved a $2 billion sellout in less than one year with record breaking sales. Marlene was appointed Broker Specialist at 15 Central Park West in 2011. She is both proud and honored to hold this important title. Prior to 15 Central Park West, Marlene worked for The Sunshine Group, where she honed her marketing and selling skills in other Manhattan luxury buildings such as, Time Warner, Trump International and The Park Laurel.
Dedicated and driven, Marlene has worked with a wide variety of clients ranging from CEOs of major corporations seeking luxury apartments to first time homebuyers just beginning their real estate journey. With a client base built upon personal referrals from satisfied buyers and sellers, Marlene understands that whether selling, leasing or purchasing, a respect for confidentiality and integrity is of the upmost importance in fulfilling her client’s needs. Her sincerity and concern for their best interests ring true and make buyers and sellers alike feel both comfortable with her skill and confident in their decisions.
As a former actress/dancer, Marlene is a passionate supporter of the arts. In her spare time, she enjoys the theater, ballet, skiing, travel and museums. She divides her time between NYC and Connecticut where she has made a home for her children.
