Julia Hoagland | Founder and Principal

The problem-solving skills and attention to detail Julia developed during her studies in electrical engineering and as vice president and director of marketing at two leading Wall Street firms led her to formulate MLLP's core principle: comprehensive market analysis creates competitive advantages for buyers and sellers. Whether advising clients or negotiating on their behalf, her proven strategies, innovative thinking and creativity consistently lead to successful closings with optimal terms.

A graduate of the NYU Stern School of Business and the Colorado School of Mines, Julia is as driven in her personal life as she is in her professional life. She has completed seven marathons and scaled Mt. Rainier in Washington, Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa and Mt. Fuji in Japan. Julia has travelled to over 35 countries building an international network of social and business contacts that create unique and beneficial connections for MLLP clientele.

Katie Spencer | Director of Business Development

Katie Spencer is a New Yorker with unique experience selling New York real estate locally and internationally. Before joining MLLP and BHS, Katie spent four years in Beijing, China first with Jones Lang LaSalle and later as Managing Director of a real estate brokerage firm specializing in the marketing and sale of Manhattan real estate to Chinese investors. Her creative thinking and sharp determination coupled with her diverse experience from eight years in real estate make her an asset to both buyers and sellers. Katie graduated cum laude from Middlebury College in Vermont and received her Master's Degree from Fordham University in New York. She is proficient in Mandarin Chinese.

Hannah Bowling | Operations

Hannah Bowling is originally from Austin, Texas and is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis where she majored in international studies. Her positive attitude and proactive customer service make her an asset to clients. As an Operations Associate with the Modern Luxury Living Partnership (MLLP) led by Julia Hoagland, her creative resources and professional dedication make her a reliable solutions orchestrator for MLLP clientele. Prior to joining MLLP, Hannah performed market research for a New York City start-up and headed an event planning organization as an undergraduate.

Meredith Kates | Operations

Meredith Kates graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX with university honors in liberal arts. Meredith has had extensive international study experiences at Oxford University, University College London, and the University of Innsbruck, Austria and majored in International Studies. Meredith is very detail oriented, places a focus on client service, and has strong market research skills. Prior to joining MLLP, Meredith worked for a Greenwich, Connecticut real estate brokerage.
