Norman Schoenfeld is an attorney and graduate of Harvard Law School and New York University. For over 30 years, he has been an active leader in commercial real estate equity, placing construction loans and as a permanent mortgage lender. He was Vice President of mortgage subsidiaries for both Bankers Trust New York Corporation and Citigroup. He has been Vice President for the Trust Department for Bankers Trust Company, working with high net worth domestic and foreign clients and successfully handling swaps with troubled REITS. Additionally, Norman has brokered several hundred million dollars of real state financing and was co-founder and chairman of both Schoenfeld Glickman Maloy Inc, and Spence Hill Associates.
Mr. Schoenfeld has been on the faculty of New York University's Real Estate Institute, and has written for American Banker, Real Estate Review and the Appraisal Journal. Other publications include the Board of Advisors and Contributors of The Journal of RTC Real Estate. Together with Frank J. Parker, S.J., he authored Modern Real Estate (D.C. Heath). Mr. Schoenfeld is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and was formally a member of and of RP Epsilon, the Real Estate Fraternity, the Mortgage Bankers Association of New York.
