Originally from San Francisco, Rick Gilbert earned a mathematics degree at the University of California at Berkeley as well as a computer science graduate degree from Stanford University. After college, Rick worked for IBM research and development spending more than a decade at the company. Following this, he moved into executive management of smaller telecommunications companies....

Rick Gilbert has served as the President of ADC Kentrox, the Chairman and CEO of Copper Mountain Networks, Kineto Wireless, Westell Technologies, and has also served on several Boards of Directors.
Over the years Rick and his wife Belinda have lived and worked in several parts of the United States and Europe, finally settling in Manhattan and Como, Italy. Rick has been able to focus his expertise on luxury residential real estate in New York City after initial success with Brown Harris Stevens in East Hampton, New York.
