Stewart Grodzitsky is Managing Director of the Elaine Clayman Group at Brown Harris Stevens. Because purchasing premium city property can be a complex endeavor, as Managing Director and a hands-on Transaction Manager for the Elaine Clayman Group, Stewart Grodzitsky ensures that clients receive best-of-class transaction support during the sale or purchase of their home.
From the time of accepted offer through the closing of a sale, Stewart oversees every aspect of the transaction process for our buyers and sellers. His chief responsibility is to serve as the primary advisor and point-person to sellers and buyers through the intricate transactional phase that is unique to the New York City residential market. Stewart gathers all relevant financial information for the sale and disseminates this data-with thorough explanations of variables to the attorneys, brokers, buyers, sellers and managing agents who are legally attached to the transaction. He manages the entire transaction process with frequent communications to all parties, so that everyone remains apprised of the status of the sale. Stewart also coaches buyers for the board approval process-an aspect of cooperative purchasing that is particularly important to a successful purchase.
Born and raised in New York City, Stewart, who earned his B.A. in economics from Brooklyn College, brings significant sales and project management experience to the group. His career as a systems engineer at companies such as Vignette and Clarify as well as the esteemed firms of Shearson Lehman Hutton and Kidder Peabody & Company primed him for the rigors of the New York residential real estate arena and his key role here within the Group.
Stewart is a licensed real estate agent and a member of The Real Estate Board of New York. He currently resides in Forest Hills, New York.
