Debbie has been a resident of Manhattan’s Upper East Side for over 40 years, since her years at Finch College. At Finch she lived in North Hall, a townhouse that is now a private residence. Afterwards, she lived in rentals, then bought and sold several of her own co-ops and has developed a deep and keen understanding of the Manhattan markets and their denizens.

She spent 20 years in business publishing, at Institutional Investor Magazine, Forbes and The Economist, all as a Director of Conference Sales, both in the U.S. and internationally. She later joined The Paley Center as a Senior Development Officer.

Following that, she was recruited to use her marketing and public relations expertise as a consultant to Calypso St. Barth, the fashion and home décor company, which she did for 10 years, until it’s closing, last year. Concurrently, she was a columnist for Avenue Magazine, and a contributor Elle Décor, and is currently contributing to Town and Country and New York Social Diary.

Debbie raised her two children here, where they graduated from St. Bernard’s and Spence. She has served on the Ronald McDonald and Whitney Museum Associates Committees, on the board of New Yorkers for Children, and has been a trustee for 20 years at The Parrish Art Museum in Watermill, where she summers. In Southampton, she has written for and edited several East End publications and has served on committees for ARF, The Southampton Association and the Sag Harbor Cinema.
