A longtime New York resident, George currently lives in his Stuyvesant Heights, Brooklyn brownstone with his husband and their dogs, Oxy & Gen (OxyGen). During his free time, George enjoys physical fitness, long hikes along country trails with OxyGen, cooking international dishes, tasting great wine, and traveling. With a deep commitment to social justice, he serves on the board of the Latino Commission on AIDS and is a founding member of AID FOR AIDS International.

George holds a Bachelor's Degree from Barry University and a Master's Degree from Columbia University. He is fluent in Spanish (written and spoken) and is a first-generation Cuban American.
