Jeanne Rozel has enjoyed being a long time resident of New Canaan. She and her family moved here from Indiana in 1975. Throughout the years Jeanne has volunteered for a variety of local causes, mainly with the schools, church and scouting. Her committment was recognized when she received the Honor Award for significant service to the Girl Scouts. Presently, Jeanne and a group of friends maintain the Merrie Bee Girl Scout Cabin in Kiwanis Park. It is a wonderful asset for New Canaan scouts.

Jeanne has served as President of the New Canaan Board of Realtors and Director of the Connecticut Association of Realtors, she is also a member of the New Canaan Board of Zoning Appeals. She has just completed a three year term on the New Canaan Board of Assessment Appeals and is thus especially knowledgeable about property taxation issues. In the past, Jeanne has won the prestigious New Canaan Realtor of the Year Award. In 2013, she was awarded "Realtor Citizen of the Year" by the New Canaan Board of Realtors.
