The Louise Phillips Forbes Team is proud to announce the launch of Weze Walls, a new event series that brings together thoughtfully curated real estate and the work of talented local artists. Designed to reimagine the traditional open house, each event transforms a listing into a living gallery—inviting guests to experience both art and home in a uniquely immersive way.

The debut event will take place on May 15th from 5:30 to 7:00 PM at 1212 Fifth Avenue, #14AD, featuring a private art installation and open house with Brooklyn-based designer, muralist and artist Meredith Schomburg, catering by chef Kathy Gordon, aka KG Kichen’s , and the rare opportunity to meet the artist in person.

On view will be “Joyful Noise,” a compelling collection of mixed-media works exploring perception, identity, and emotion through bold compositions and layered textures. Using acrylic, gouache, oil pastel, and pencil, Schomburg creates expressive narratives that feel at once intimate and expansive. Pieces like Do You See Me / Do I See You Clearly and The Gift offer a glimpse into the artist’s singular ability to channel depth and joy onto the canvas.

This dynamic body of work will be installed at 1212 Fifth Avenue, 14th Floor, a one-of-a-kind residence that embodies the same creativity and vision as the art it will temporarily house. With nearly 4,100 square feet of potential and 55 feet of uninterrupted views over Central Park, the combined 14th-floor residence offers a showstopping setting for Schomburg’s work.

Oversized casement windows, nine-foot ceilings, custom millwork, and four exposures flood the space with natural light—creating a gallery-like atmosphere ideal for both fine art and inspired living.
