Brown Harris Stevens Broker Adrienne Berman is a top New York City real estate professional, consistently providing sellers and buyers with the quality service since 2002. As a result, the majority of Adrienne’s business comes from referrals and repeat clients, including attorneys, mortgage brokers, and co-op boards.
Before joining Brown Harris Stevens, Adrienne was a top broker with Corcoran Group Real Estate following a career in public relations and marketing for international development and relief organizations, including Doctors Without Borders and The Peace Corp.
Adrienne has received multiple honors throughout her career. She ranked in the top 2% of NRT’s 61,000 salespeople during the height of the banking/real estate crisis and has since consistently ranked high.
As a testament to her success and expertise in residential sales and leasing, in 2019 Adrienne was appointed the Director of Brown Harris Steven’s Health Care Real Estate Services. Adrienne has brought the same expertise and results to this important market niche.
Adrienne’s professionalism is strongly influenced by her formal education in language and literature. She holds a master’s degree in French from Middlebury College and a Diplôme D’études Approfondies in Linguistics from the Université de Paris-X. She takes a thoughtful, intellectual approach to helping buyers and sellers, providing sellers with a written marketing plan that clearly outlines her sales strategy and extensive analysis supporting recommended pricing. Adrienne believes the right pricing strategy is the key to a successful sale and realizing optimal return on investment. With a long history of receiving multiple offers for her sellers, she consistently achieves sales above asking price, and the average time on the market for her listings is much shorter than the industry average.
A native of West Hartford, Connecticut, Adrienne attended the Kingswood-Oxford School and has lived in France, Israel and Norway. An avid reader, she also enjoys skiing, knitting, and sailing. She lives on the Upper East Side with her daughter and is a member of her building’s co-op board.
