Clare joined Brown Harris Stevens (then Halstead Property) in 2009 with a background in sales and customer service in the luxury goods industry. Clare, along with her Hudson Realty Group partner and husband, Peter Cossio, joined the firm to further expand the team reach into the Manhattan market and to take advantage of its superior marketing and branding. The Hudson Realty Group team now also includes Kim Sullivan-Beier, Westley Page, Richard Woodhull, Jacqueline Petruzzelli, Lori Staselis and Ann Wycherley expanding their presence and dominance in the Hoboken and Jersey City markets as the Top NJ Broker Team within Brown Harris Stevens. HRG continues to earn many top awards including the Producer’s Council Award for being ranked within the 1% Top Grossing Agents and the prestigious NJ Realtors Circle of Excellence Platinum Award from 2013-2023.
Clare’s attention to detail and expert listening skills are the cornerstones of her successful client relationships. Effectively identifying her clients’ needs enables her to simplify the process of buying or selling a home for her clients. She lived and worked throughout Europe for several years before being promoted to Sales Manager of her company’s New York City sales office. This background, coupled with her experience of living and working in several European countries, has given her a good understanding of the differing expectations of home buyers and sellers that are attracted by multicultural Hoboken and its environs.
Clare originates from England, and hails from a family background in real estate, with both her father and brother working at prominent property companies in London, England. Her own experience in real estate extends to positions held in the residential sales offices of several international property companies in St. Tropez, France; Milan, Italy; and Cambridge, England. Clare received her BA Hons. in Italian and French from The University of Bristol, England.
