We first met at a showing for one of his rental listings when I was initially looking to rent an apartment on the Upper East Side. I had gone to about 5 showings with various brokers that weekend, and Evgheni was one of the only ones who was not pushy. My family and I were particularly impressed with Evghenis friendliness and great advice on the real estate market. He was excellent at listening to what we were looking for in an apartment and very prompt at responding to emails and phone calls. He is also a masterful negotiator. He was respectful and patient, pushed me when I needed to be pushed, and backed off when I needed time to make decisions. Evgheni has deep knowledge around the Manhattan real estate market and is an excellent negotiator. Probably most importantly though, once we found the place I ended up buying, he walked me through the entire co-op approval process—which was honestly more daunting than getting the mortgage. He also did an outstanding job of finding me a highly qualified sub-letter for my rental. I highly recommend Evgheni—hes ethical, a hard worker, and very well-respected.
