Juli Tolleson began her real estate career with Warburg, where she quickly instilled trust in buyers, sellers and film industry professionals seeking on-location accommodations. Since joining Brown Harris Stevens in 2021, Juli has worked with a range of clients to secure luxury rentals and purchase apartments throughout Manhattan. Her listening skills, attention to detail and steadfast client service—largely cultivated by two decades of consumer luxury marketing, have garnered a loyal client base that continues to generate referrals.
Originally from San Francisco and raised by two professional musicians, Juli is fueled by a perpetual curiosity. That curiosity brought her to New York City as a young single with nothing but a suitcase, ambition and one month’s rent. Over her 20 years in Manhattan, she launched a career, held several executive roles in PR and Marketing firms, met a guy, enjoyed NYC nightlife, married the guy, had two kids who led them to a new brand of “nightlife”, and evolved into an active community member and fundraiser for the PTA. Having lived here through so many life stages of her own, Juli is skilled at meeting buyers and sellers exactly where they are in their journey.
Prior to her time in New York City, Juli was an award-winning journalist whose wanderlust led her to travel four continents. She also lived in London and Paris.
Juli lives in Battery Park City with her husband, two children and a stockpile of instruments, art supplies, soccer gear and gymnastics equipment. Her favorite pastimes include writing, getting lost in a good novel, movie, or play, creating stuff with her kids, exploring new and historical neighborhoods, visiting art galleries and museums, and seeing live music.
Juli received BAs from San Francisco State University in both Broadcast Communications and French. She speaks conversational French and has a Spotify playlist for every mood and occasion.
