Richard (“RJ”) Del Nunzio was a professional tennis player before entering real estate. Tennis, much like real estate, is an interesting synthesis of teamwork, a strong work ethic, and discipline, all of which he employs daily as an Agent with Brown Harris Stevens.
In helping clients buy and sell throughout the city, Richard always keeps his eye “on the ball,” working tirelessly to ensure clients remain confident and satisfied throughout the transaction process while employing skillful negotiation and market analysis strategies.
Richard reached #1 in the Eastern Section and #5 in the United States Junior rankings, with an international junior ranking of #160. Richard reached the semifinals of the Supernational Clay Court Championship in singles and was a finalist in the doubles event. He went on to receive the honorable title of “blue chip” recruit and was then drafted to play at Oklahoma State as the 14th overall pick for 2012. In 2013, Richard transferred to St. John’s University, where he would go on to achieve a collegiate division I doubles ranking of #29 and a singles ranking of #96.
In his private time, Richard enjoys reading political philosophy and writing about constitutional topics such as the 9th and 10th Amendments. In fact, he is currently writing a book on them. Richard loves to spend time with his wife Lisa and their newborn son. Playing tennis at the West Side Tennis Club in Forest Hills is still a passion of his, especially on his favorite court, 11.
