With more than 25 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, cybersecurity, and IT operations, Matt serves as Vice President, IT Operations and Infrastructure for Brown Harris Stevens, leading the strategic direction and daily oversight of the firm’s technology ecosystem. Matt is responsible for guiding the platforms, systems, and security frameworks that keep the company connected, protected, and operating at peak performance.
A visionary and a steady-handed leader, Matt is committed to technology that empowers BHS agents and employees to achieve their best. He prioritizes clarity, reliability, and user experience in every initiative — from evolving cloud and identity capabilities to strengthening cybersecurity and modernizing core infrastructure. His belief is simple: technology should make people’s lives easier, not more complicated.
During his years with the firm, Matt has advanced through nearly every role within the IT organization. This path — from office support to system administrator, senior engineer, director, and now VP — has given him a uniquely comprehensive view of the organization. He values the people behind the systems just as much as the systems themselves. His leadership is anchored in empathy, collaboration, and a deep respect for the work each team member contributes to the company’s success.
Outside of work, Matt finds joy in spending time with his wife, son, and their pet, Maru. A lifelong athlete, he brings the values of teamwork, communication, and resilience to both his personal life and professional leadership. He believes that every person — regardless of title or task — plays an essential role in achieving shared goals.
Matt’s vision is to modernize and elevate BHS into the most innovative, efficient, and forward-thinking technology organizations in the real estate industry. He is driven by a strong belief in meaningful ROI — not just in hardware and software, but in people, process, and purpose.
