Recently recruited to Brown Harris Stevens and widely regarded as one of the top agents in the country over the past two decades, Raphael De Niro brings a legacy of market leadership, advisory expertise, and record-setting sales to the firm. As team lead of the De Niro Team, which has collectively sold out more Manhattan buildings than nearly any other team, they join BHS as what he calls “the only true upgrade” — drawn by a culture and caliber of agents he has long admired. From his excitement for 80 Clarkson to a 2026 forecast defined by constrained luxury inventory and steady domestic demand, his perspective remains rooted in experience, discipline, and client-first counsel.
Why did you collectively decide BHS was the best next step for your team’s future?
Throughout my career I have admired BHS’s agents and culture and felt that BHS would be the only true upgrade for my team and me.
There are few agents and teams that have sold out more buildings than you in Manhattan. What project are you most excited about in NYC right now?
80 Clarkson is by far the most exciting new development project in Manhattan. I expect it to break all benchmarks for the below-34th St sub-market.
You are consistently ranked amongst the Top Teams in the US and previously were in the Top 10 nationally, in your opinion what separates your team from the 16,000 other real estate professionals in NYC?
I think one of the main differentiators for us is our collective decades of experience and always approaching our business as an advisory service, even when that advice is not what our clients and customers necessarily want to hear. We really try to put our own interests behind that of people we advise.
Share your most pet friendly place in New York City and why?
I’m biased, but the Greenwich Hotel in Tribeca can’t be beat in terms of pet friendliness for guests. Pets get catered to just as much as humans. My dog loved getting to walk up and down Hudson River Park when he was a NYC resident.
What is your forecast for the 2026 Manhattan Market?
More of the same, low luxury inventory and strong demand from domestic buyers.
Share something few know about you.
Deep sea fishing is my favorite recreational activity/hobby.
Share a photo on your camera roll that means a lot to you and share why.
This photo is of my youngest child and one of my dogs in Montauk. It represents what I love about my favorite season (summer) in a single image.
