Fourth of July weekend is around the corner and among the BBQ’s and patriotic celebrations, one of the most popular activities to take part in is viewing a spectacular fireworks show.


While you plan for the holiday ahead, here are some of the fireworks shows happening in your area and where to secure the best viewing spot, as you gather with family and friends.


 


New York City


The highly-anticipated Macy’s Annual Fourth of July Fireworks show, taking place on July 4, will feature live musical performances, and invigorating pyrotechnics that will light up the sky over the East River. In addition to the entire show being televised, here are the best viewing locations across New York City to catch the heart-pounding display in person:
