Two bedroom, one bathroom furnished New Paltz cottage set on almost four acres with beautiful views of the Shawngunks. The cabin was built in 1950, but completely renovated in 2012. The casual, comfortable, modern cabin is a ten minute walk from downtown New Paltz but offers space and views usually reserved for much more remote properties. The main cabin is open plan with comfortable sofas, a large desk/office area, a large table with a view for eating, a fireplace and and a brand new kitchen. There is also a queen sized murphy bed that provides a very comfortable place to sleep for your guests. The utility room has a washer and dryer and houses the central air conditioning. The newer part of the cabin is where the two bedrooms and bathroom are located. One bedroom has a comfortable, new, queen bed and the other has twin sized bunk beds. There are additional youth mattresses for guests. In addition, there is a daybed (double size) with beautiful views of the ridge. The bathroom, with shower and tub is adjacent to the bedrooms. Next to the back porch, you will find the very popular outdoor shower in the shade of an old oak tree. There is also a wood-fired hot tub on the property, often used in the summer as a plunge pool.
