The Fitch family commissioned this Romanesque Revival house on Garfield Place and it was constructed to their specifications in 1892 by Brooklyn architect Magnus Dahlander. Remarkably, this house remained in their family for 120 years and is now seeking a second owner.

Built 22 feet wide (approx. 6,000 sq.ft.) and on the park block, this home truly feels like one is stepping back in time. Remarkable details have been preserved throughout the five story house. There are a total of 15 rooms with nine bedrooms and 4.5 baths. There is an incredible paneled library on the parlor floor and a center room on the 5th floor with skylight which would serve as a wonderful media/family room space.
