Eugene Cordano has garnered the respect of his clients & colleagues for nearly 25 years in his real estate career. Gene comes from a family of builders and developers in which his father gave him the insight to always look at each project from a variety of angles. Building on his father's teaching and prior to joining Brown Harris Stevens Gene worked in mixed-use and residential real estate development and management for twelve years. Gene also spent three years marketing modular housing in Mexico.
Gene has been with Brown Harris Stevens (originally Halstead Real Estate) for almost 14 years. His experience has enabled him to offer a full range of real estate services from sales, rentals, and project development from site acquisition to planning and sales and marketing. He specializes in residential condominium conversion with income producing or investment and 1031 properties. His practice has expanded to include commercial co-op and condos, retail, sale lease backs, and land sales.
Gene has been awarded membership in the Platinum Circle, the Producer's Council and the Gold Circle based on his dollar volume of sales & rental transactions (all Halstead Real Estate designations). Gene currently directs sales and marketing at Brown Harris Stevens’ office in Hoboken, NJ.
Gene holds a B.A. from St. John's University in Political Science with a minor in Finance. He is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York, the NY & the NJ Builders Association, NAR, NJAR, the Liberty & West Essex Boards of Realtors, the Hudson County and Hoboken Chambers of Commerce, Habitat for Humanity of Hudson County, Legatus of Morris County, NJ, and also participates in local USO, VFW, and Catholic charities.
