Christopher Halstead Promoted to Chief Strategy Officer at Brown Harris Stevens

NEW YORK, NY (November 13, 2025) — Brown Harris Stevens (BHS), one of the nation’s premier privately held real estate firms, is proud to announce that Christopher Halstead has been promoted to Chief Strategy Officer. In this expanded role, Halstead will oversee the implementation of new company-wide initiatives, streamline operations and efficiencies across regions, and assist with office renovations and strategic projects. He will also provide additional leadership support to Directors and agents throughout the BHS network.

Halstead, who joined the firm in 2009 and was appointed Executive Sales Director of Connecticut in 2021, will now divide his time between New York City and Connecticut, maintaining a dedicated office at 445 Park Avenue. Despite his expanded responsibilities, Halstead will remain heavily focused on Connecticut, where he has been instrumental in driving growth across the region.

Halstead comes from a proud family legacy in real estate — he is the nephew of Clark Halstead, founder of the Halstead brand, which later became part of Brown Harris Stevens. Over his 15 years with the firm, Christopher has distinguished himself as a top-producing agent and respected leader.
