Ava Van de Water is Executive Vice President and Broker of Brown Harris Stevens of Palm Beach. Ms. Van de Water oversees the sales, marketing and development operations of the two Palm Beach offices of Brown Harris Stevens and its 50-plus real estate agents who average more than 20 years experience. Ms. Van de Water grew up in Palm Beach and has followed real estate on the island not only as a resident but as a noted real estate writer. Prior to joining Brown Harris Stevens in 2003 as a real estate agent specializing in luxury residential and investment properties, Ms. Van de Water had a 20-year career in journalism as an editor, business writer and real estate columnist. Ms. Van de Water is a Past President of the Palm Beach Board of Realtors, and has served as a director of the Board for 10 years. She attended George Washington University, University of Florida and earned a BA in English from Florida Atlantic University.
