Although the majority of his business has been conducted in sales, John had, prior to coming to Brown Harris Stevens, managed the rental/sales division of a boutique Greenwich Village real estate office, training new agents and closing deals, giving him a full understanding of the rental business, as well as furthering his problem-resolving skills. He is particularly adept at giving sellers honest and accurate estimates of their property's true worth, and designing a marketing strategy that best suits their needs, whether a Fifth Avenue penthouse or a walk-up studio. For prospective purchasers, his knowledge of available listings and the co-op/condo requirements, combined with his ability to focus on a buyer's aesthetic, practical, and financial needs, are unsurpassed.
John studied history, philosophy, and politics at Lancaster University in England and is a keen student of the history and culture of New York City.
