Prior to following her passion for real estate, Mara was an Emmy-award winning television journalist, serving as a senior producer and on-air talent in Washington, New York and Los Angeles. Her assignments included countless red-carpet premieres, movie releases, and celebrity interviews as well as Oscar, Grammy and Golden Globe award shows.
In her spare time, Mara has presided as Chair of the Phillips Academy (Andover) regional Alumni Association, and volunteered for a wide range of efforts including her children’s schools, community cleanup efforts and military veteran organizations.
A graduate of the University of Vermont, Mara and her husband John live in the North End of Palm Beach with their children Jack and Whitney, along with Gracie, their beloved (if misbehaved) Golden Retriever.
