Stephen Klym

A respected real estate executive with proven leadership experience, Senior Executive Vice President Stephen Klym manages with an "open door" policy, offering his extensive knowledge of the business, in-depth marketing savvy, and exceptional people skills to help agents hone their craft and expand their business. With a varied repertoire of experience in the residential real estate business, Stephen brings remarkable energy and a distinct management style to his role as Director of two thriving Downtown offices located at 100 Fifth Avenue and 43 North Moore Street.

Prior to joining Brown Harris Stevens, Mr. Klym was the Executive Director of Sales for Halstead Property’s successful SoHo office for several years. Previously, he worked for eight years at Warburg Realty, where he first served as the firm's Marketing Director and eventually Director of Sales for its Village office. Before entering the field of real estate, Stephen was Director of Programming for two distinguished New York City private clubs, The National Arts Club and The Princeton University Club, where he coordinated and publicized social and cultural events for the club memberships.

A native of Toronto, Canada, Stephen has called New York home since 1989 when he boarded a train and moved to the city to attend the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and pursue a career in acting—let’s just say, real estate turned out to be the smarter choice. He is a graduate of New York University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Literature. Stephen has resided in Tribeca for the past 14 years and spends time with his husband, Robert, in their home in the Village of Southampton whenever he can get away.

Stephen is an active member of the Real Estate Board of New York.

Stephen Klym also serves, under Section 440 (6) of the Real Property Law , as the designated "Office Manager" for the 100 Fifth Avenue, 43 North Moore office(s).
