Neighborhood Stories

Amazing town for everyone. The restaurants, shops, and the ocean makes it a unique place to live.

I love the light in the Hamptons. It's why artists first came here in the 1890s, then others followed.

As one of the oldest settlements, this town has a lot of American history

Robert Nelson

Its close proximity to numerous Village ocean beaches (including the well-known Coopers Beach on Meadow Lane) affords many ocean beach choices. My favorite Village ocean beach is Little Plains, which affords an unobstructed view of the ocean on approach. It is about a mile from the Village center. The heart of the business district offers many restaurants and a multitude of art galleries and shopping attractions. Overlooking Lake Agawam, Agawam Park with a playground is also the site of Wednesday evening summer outdoor concerts. The Village also has many historic buildings and all that one could wish for.
