I’ve lived in the West Village for 20 years, and these are some of my favorite neighborhood spots. For grab-and-go food, I love Bonsignour on 8th and Jane, and Merriweather is perfect for a quick outdoor lunch. Greenwich Letterpress is my go-to for unique cards, and Bar Pisellino is great for cocktails and people-watching. L’Artusi offers excellent Italian cuisine, and Three Lives & Company is a favorite local bookstore. The neighborhood has so many special places that make everyday life feel vibrant and welcoming.

If you’re in the West Village, you have to stop by Apollo Bagels. They’re truly amazing—don’t let the line scare you off. It moves quickly and is absolutely worth it. You won’t regret trying them!
