Beth Ann Vaccaro on New Development, Community, and the Power of Local Insight

By BHS Content Team

In this week’s BHS Agent Spotlight, we’re catching up with Beth Ann Vaccaro, a newly returning Rising Star in our Darien office and a specialist in new development. In her interview, she shares how her hands-on work at Heights Crossing gives her a unique perspective on the local market, what sets Brown Harris Stevens apart, and why she’s excited about what’s ahead in Darien. She also offers her outlook for the spring market, favorite local spots, and the personal moments that keep her grounded.

If you had to come up with something that separates you from the thousands of other real estate professionals in CT, what would you say that is?

I don’t just sell in Darien, I live it from multiple angles. My work at Heights Crossing gives me insight into how properties are built, absorbed, and where the town is headed.

Favorite Dining Spot in Darien? What are you ordering?

That’s a hard one… but right now, I’d say Roots. It offers something for everyone and has that quintessential Darien feel where you always run into familiar faces. Don’t skip the sundae!

What new development projects are you most excited about that are in the pipeline in your area?

Heights Corner, a new development I’ll be working on, which is located across from the Noroton Heights train station. It’s designed to bring a more connected, walkable feel to the neighborhood. Residences will primarily be two-bedroom units with private patios, each with high-end, luxury finishes.

You were previously at Houlihan Lawrence for a short period, what is it about Brown Harris Stevens that is so different from the other brokerages?

Brown Harris Stevens has a refined, relationship-driven culture that feels very natural to how I do business. It’s thoughtful, discreet, and focused on building long-term trust.

Favorite family friendly activity in Fairfield County?

The everyday moments. Beach afternoons, post-game ice cream at 101’s or Gopher, or slow Sunday mornings in town.

What is your forecast for the Darien Spring Market?

Buyers are active, especially those who have been renting this winter. Demand remains strong for move-in-ready homes, though buyers are more discerning. Homes that are priced and presented well will move quickly, and staging matters.

Share something that few know about you.

I started my career in brand strategy, which continues to shape how I approach real estate. I’m very visual and drawn to a property’s story, both its past and where it’s going, not just the transaction.

Share a photo from your camera roll that is meaningful to you and share with us why.

A photo of my five-year-old at Heights Crossing. I stopped by to take a video, and he joined me. These are the moments that matter most and keep everything in perspective.
