Ed brings to BHSDM more than 15 years of experience in design and development through all phases of complex, large-scale urban development, and unique perspective from in-house architecture firm and developer roles.
An architect with deep experience in-house at esteemed architecture firms, as well as for a developer building prominent luxury residential developments, Ed’s expertise is an immense asset for clients as he helps them navigate the challenges and opportunities in New York City real estate development and design. He guides developers and institutional partners as well as BHSDM project teams in architectural programming, planning, and design throughout all phases of the marketing and sales process, to add value and accelerate market absorption.
Prior to joining BHSDM in 2022, Ed was the Director of Design and Development at HFZ Capital Group as for more than 2.5 million square feet of commercial real estate, inclusive of office, luxury residential, hospitality, and mixed-use typologies. He has also worked for the international architecture offices Bjarke Ingels Group and Adjaye Associates.
Ed has a B.A. with a major in architecture and concentration in economics from Columbia University. He received his Master of Architecture from Princeton University and is a member of the American Institute of Architects.
He resides with his family on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, and in their free time can be found exploring the city or simply enjoying the good company of friends and family.
