Dean Dunbar is a seasoned, knowledgeable, and hardworking broker, recognized for providing exceptional, personalized service to buyers and sellers of residential properties throughout all of New York City. Dean is known for his consummate professionalism, superior knowledge of the market, exemplary execution skills, and for adhering to the highest professional and ethical standards.

Dean’s extensive market knowledge comes from his diverse real estate career. Having begun his career focusing on luxury apartment rentals, he subsequently became a team leader, corporate relocation director, co-op and condo sales specialist, sales and leasing manager, and, most recently, director of business development and corporate partnerships for the NY office of a leading national brokerage firm. All of this experience has enabled Dean to develop broad and deep relationships with agents, managers, real estate attorneys, mortgage brokers, and a myriad of other industry professionals, enabling him to be incredibly resourceful for his clients.

Prior to his career in real estate, Dean had an extensive career on Wall Street where he was a private wealth manager at Goldman Sachs and a partner at a startup hedge fund. His broad experience in the financial services industry has made Dean a go-to broker for clients from this and other industries that demand the highest level of responsiveness and professionalism.

A native New Yorker, Dean graduated from the Bronx High School of Science, has a BA from Harvard College, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is an active member of the Harvard Club of NY, where he serves on the Admissions Committee, and is a pro-bono consultant for Harvard Business School of NY Community Partners. He is also a board member of the Upper West Side co-op building where he resides.
