Arthur Glauberman is pleased to join Brown Harris Stevens, New York’s oldest and most prestigious residential real estate firm. Arthur will be working with Gregory Klein, a top broker with many years of experience.

Arthur’s long-standing, passionate interest in New York real estate is a natural consequence of his experience living in apartments and houses all over the New York metropolitan area. As a young teacher, Arthur lived on the Upper West Side, where he served as vice president of one of the co-op boards in Lincoln Towers. He had also lived on the Upper East Side, West Village and Queens before he, his wife Judith and two daughters moved to Westchester, where he was active in local civic organizations and served as president of his synagogue. Today, Arthur is an active resident shareholder in Imperial House on the Upper East Side.

Arthur’s primary work experience has been in the field of special education, working within the N.Y. public school system for close to five decades, culminating in over 35 years teaching at the New York Psychiatric Institute’s Children’s Day Unit in association with psychiatrists and professional staff. The program supports the special needs of 14- to 21-year-old high-risk youth with emotional disabilities, such as anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. Arthur was also a familiar face for many years at the Union Square Greenmarket, selling vegetables grown on his family’s farm in Newton, New Jersey. In his free time, Arthur is an avid lifelong photographer whose photos have been published and licensed in countless magazines, textbooks, and newspapers.
