In her leisure time, Carol has been a lifelong sailor having grown up in Newport, RI with her career Naval Officer father and family. She has sailed Narrangansett Bay and Long Island Sound along with cruising all regions of the Northeast, the eastern seaboard, and for the past 20 years, racing in the Maine Maritimes while at her summer home on Barters Island in Midcoast Maine.
