Ellen began her real estate career in 2002 working for the Brodsky organization, where she did onsite work with new construction buildings throughout Midtown and in the exclusive Gramercy Park area.
Prior to joining Brown Harris Stevens, Ellen worked at a small boutique firm downtown. It was there that she learned the rental real estate market as completely as she does today. Her experience has led to a great knowledge of the product in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island City, and she has created a large network of brokers and landlords.
Ellen has completed hundreds of rental deals in co-op, condominium, and luxury doorman buildings throughout Manhattan. She has also closed many co-ops condominium sales. Her approach to rentals and sales has a lot to do with her previous career working as an actress on Broadway—she always takes time to empathize with clients and see things from their point of view, which makes her ability to meet her client’s goals much more effective.
Ellen holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Michigan. She records and sings music on a regular basis and performs regularly at many venues in Manhattan. She currently resides in Midtown West with her husband Kelly and originally hails from a beautiful town along the Hudson River called Irvington, NY.
