Isaac Halpern's expertise in the New York real estate market is both personal and professional. He is a native New Yorker who grew up on the Upper East Side, and he brings just shy of two decades of experience selling real estate at Halstead and Brown Harris Stevens, since joining in 2004. Over the years, Isaac has developed an expertise in Co-op, Condo, Single Family, Multi Family and Investment sales. His sharp mind, creativity and facility working with numbers differentiate him from the rest of the brokerage community.
Isaac believes strongly that "a home sells how it shows." To that end, he works meticulously with his photographers to ensure each home looks its very best. He has also created dozens of narrated short videos for his exclusive listings which go beyond just pictures; they tell stories which connect with buyers and lead to sales. His professionalism combined with his smart negotiation savvy is one reason his clients are so loyal. In short, Isaac knows how to solve problems to get to the closing table, often at record sales prices.
Isaac intimately understands the decisions his clients consider in each step. He has bought and sold apartments for himself six times; and owns three investment homes as well. For each property, he works closely with his contractors to renovate and create a beautiful home, adding value while staying on budget. He has also served on the two condominium boards where he previously lived and was the Treasurer of his Manhattan Co-op before he sold. He is currently the president of the 3 East 78th Street Condominium in Manhattan. His leadership experience with co-op and condo boards gives Isaac an edge; he understands building issues intrinsically from staffing to finances to operations, and he shares this knowledge with his clients.
Isaac graduated from Bard College with a major in Russian history. He received a dual degree, an MBA and Master in Urban Planning, from Columbia University. Outside of work, Isaac enjoys competitive sailing and playing on USTA tennis teams. He looks forward to hearing from you and is ready to partner with you.
