Prior to entering the real estate industry, Katie built a successful career in management consulting and held positions in sales, marketing, and corporate communications. During this time, she had extensive experience with project management, business development, and event planning.
Katie grew up in New Canaan, CT where she attended elementary, middle, and high school. Her introduction to real estate came when she was in high school and used to help her mother, Marjorie Vance, who was a very successful real estate broker in New Canaan. After graduating from New Canaan High School, she attended Colby-Sawyer College in New London, NH and then she went on to the University of California in Riverside, CA where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
Katie lived and worked in Boston for 10 years after college before moving to Rowayton, CT, and then Darien. She has lived in Darien since 1993 and enjoys tennis, cooking, gardening, water activities, and spending time with her family and friends. She is also the Board President of Pine Brook Condominium Association and on the Advisory Board of the New Canaan Mounted Troop.
