Lindsay Westbrook was born and raised in Rowayton, CT until she moved to Rhode Island with her family and went to boarding school. Her love for the town and the area never left, and she returned years later to raise her family. In addition to growing up in Rowayton, Lindsay attended school in Stamford and New Canaan giving her a wealth of knowledge of the entire area.
Lindsay has been in Darien for twelve years with her husband, Brad, and two children. Brad grew up in Darien and the two met while in college at Denison University in Ohio. After a career in client service at a wealth management firm, Lindsay spent some time at home with her two girls. Anxious to get back into the work force and having always dreamed of having her own store, Lindsay opened a clothing boutique in Darien that she owned and operated seven years. Although the work was rewarding and gratifying, she decided to take the skills she has learned to good use helping buyers and sellers find their new home. No stranger to real estate, Lindsay’s mother was a realtor and her in-laws have a real estate company on Nantucket, MA where she has helped friends and clients secure summer rentals for years. Most recently, Lindsay was with William Raveis where she spent the last two years on the Shakley Team.
Lindsay is an active member in the community. She has served on the Opus board and been involved with the YWCA, and she is a member at The First Congregational Church of Darien where she was on the Board of Christian Education for several years and currently on the Board of Outreach. When she is not working, she enjoys being with her family and friends travelling, playing tennis, skiing at Stratton, running and of course, shopping.
Testimonials
"Lindsay is hands-down the best realtor we have ever worked with. She is incredibly responsive, resourceful and dedicated to achieving her client's goals, happiness and dream home. She worked so hard, not only to sell our house for a great price in a tough market, but also to help us find our perfect "forever" home. Anytime we reached out to her, she immediately responded and made sure we felt incredibly well-care for by her. I cannot recommend her enough. Any client would be lucky to have Lindsay represent them."“Lindsay made our purchase of a $1-2M home seamless. We made the purchase from 1,600 miles away—and during the uncertainty and chaos of the pandemic. She navigated all aspects of the buying process with ease and professionalism. She was very effective in the negotiating process and dealing with the seller’s agent. Lindsay knew the Darien/Norwalk/Rowayton market and neighborhoods REALLY well. Her connections for movers, utilities, AV, and especially contractors were invaluable to us—especially not knowing the area or anyone in the area. I would HIGHLY recommend Lindsay.” – Beth C.Lindsay was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to help us find our first home in a new city/state. She understood exactly what we were looking for, stayed within our budget, and knew the area very well so we knew we were in good hands. She is incredibly responsive and was on top of everything that needed to get done so we could move in on time. After closing she continued to help us with electricians, painters, cleaning services and even the best places to pumpkin picking! She found us the perfect home at the perfect price and I cannot recommend her enough! - Madison M.Lindsay was incredibly helpful in one of the most difficult real estate markets in recent history. I can't stress enough that without Lindsay, we would not have a new home. Her local knowledge, ability to envision what our home could become, and responsiveness allowed us to be competitive and ultimately win with multiple offers. - N. AttardPress Mentions
