Then finally, seeing the smile on their face at closing and knowing I was a part of their newfound happiness."
Born and raised in Crown Heights and now a resident of Park Slope, Brooklyn, real estate is in Peggy's blood. Her grandfather was a broker and all of her children have entered into the industry. She began her own real estate firm in 1984 and built it up to success, then in 2013 she merged with Brown Harris Stevens (then Halstead). She possesses expertise in all facets of the industry, from design and staging to negotiation and marketing—all skills which are a tremendous asset to her clientele.
Peggy is well-versed in all of Brownstone Brooklyn. She was called "The Czarina of Park Slope Real Estate" by New York Times Magazine and has been dubbed a "Brooklyn Treasure." She has had vast success, having sold well over $100 million in properties. One of the highlights of her career was renovating an entire block of abandoned eight-family tenements into viable middle-class homes. "I like to think that my sellers and buyers have a unique advantage with my 30 years in real estate," she states. "Like a wonderful wine that only gets better with age. I also believe very strongly in collaboration and tend to have two to three colleagues that I work with on most of my deals, maximizing the service I provide."
