Having grown up in a real estate family, where her mother has been for many years an award-winning broker in West Hartford, Schuyler brings a wealth of real estate and sales experience to Brown Harris Stevens.

Prior to joining the company, Schuyler worked as an on-air spokeswoman for QVC and HSN, selling millions of dollars’ worth of luxury goods on television (among them Frederick Fekkai, Liz Claiborne, and Yankee Candle). Before that, Schuyler was the Senior Director of Licensed Business Development at Ralph Lauren, where she worked closely with Mr. Lauren in guiding the company’s direction.

Schuyler has well-developed skills in marketing and negotiation and an ability to manage the moving parts of any deal. As a company leader, she understands the need to pay attention to detail, utilizing a team of professionals where necessary to ensure the desired outcome.

A Connecticut native, Schuyler moved to New York City upon graduation from Trinity College, and throughout her career has lived in suburban Philadelphia, Darien, and New Canaan. Schuyler appreciates the nuances of finding new schools, deciding what areas to live in, dealing with relocation companies, and adjusting to new towns and cultures.

Schuyler’s husband Brent is a managing director and partner at Clarion Partners, a real estate private equity firm in New York, and her son attends New Canaan High School.
