As EVP and Managing Director of Sales for Darien and Rowayton, Robyn Kammerer directs and manages the two offices with more than ninety agents. She is responsible for the strategic growth of the two offices and the day-to-day management.
In her previous role as the Communications executive for Halstead, Robyn handled all the public relations activities for the firm for nearly ten years as the firm grew to include 1,400 real estate agents and realtors across New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Joining the firm in 2006, Robyn was quickly promoted to the Vice President of Communications as a result of her outstanding performance and press results. In Spring 2010, she was promoted as Executive Director of Communications and held that position until her recent advancement to her sales leadership role.
Robyn brings 20 years of real estate, public relations and corporate communications experience to Halstead. Prior to joining the firm, Robyn worked at a full-service marketing and public relations firm in Irvine, California, where her clients included residential and commercial real estate, mixed-use projects and interior design. In her senior role at the company, she was responsible for media relations, account management, crisis communications, website development, strategic plans and event planning. Robyn received three Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) awards for her work on an Orange County luxury residential high-rise including Best Brochure, Best Website and Best Consumer News Release. Robyn also served as the Area Director of Communications for the American Cancer Society in Connecticut. In that capacity, she was responsible for the media relations and communications for Connecticut. In addition, Robyn was the Public Relations Manager at one of the leading personal finance magazines, Money Magazine. Based in New York, she oversaw all publicity needs of the editorial and advertising staff for the award-winning national publication.
Born and raised in Connecticut, Robyn graduated from the University of San Diego with a bachelor's degree in English Literature and French. She resides in Rowayton, Connecticut with her husband and two children. Robyn is an active member of her community where she serves on the PTA Board at Rowayton Elementary School and regularly volunteers at the local schools, the Rowayton Library, the Rowayton Civic Association and the Rowayton Gardener's Association. In addition, she also serves on the Editorial Board of the Darien/New Canaan Magazine, published by Moffly Media.
